Madaari: A Socio-Thriller

Irrfan Khan is no new name when it comes to powerful performance on screen and impeccable acting skills. Khan will now be seen in Nishikant Kamat’s movie Madaari, to be released in June 2016.

Kamat, the director of Drishyam and Mumbai Meri Jaan fame has taken inspiration from a real life incident that took place in Andheri-Kurla road, the suburban area of Marol at the under construction overhead metro station.

The film is a political satire in which Khan essays the role of a vigilante and abducts the son of the Chief Minister. The movie shows how a common man takes law in his hands to avenge the death of his son. It also portrays power-play at every level of the nation and how even a child feels empowered to be a CM’s son.
