Akhtar is an exceptionally talented filmmaker who helmed movies like Luck By Chance, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and Dil Dhadakne Do. This is the second time the actor-director duo are teaming up after the 2015 blockbuster Dil Dhadakne Do. Gully Boy is a story based on the lives of street rappers in Mumbai. Keeping with the styling, Singh has chopped off his tresses and is all set to play a hip-hop style rapper in this exciting project that also features Alia Bhatt. Ranveer Singh donning the role of Kapil Dev is going to be the biggest highlight of this much awaited biopic.
