Sunny Leone Ready To Make Her Big Debut In South Film Industry

Glam queen, Sunny Leone is all set to play the role of a warrior queen in an upcoming big budget South Indian period flick to be directed by Telugu filmmaker VC Vadivudaiyan. The project will mark her debut in the Telugu film industry. It is going to be the first time that we will see Sunny playing a warrior queen.

The historical war movie will showcase Sunny as a powerful queen. She will have a lot of action scenes and is currently undergoing training in sword fighting and horse riding. Planned on a big canvas, the movie is touted to be a heavy VFX project. Technicians who have worked with 2.0 and Baahubali have been roped in for the CG works of the project. The film will see Telugu actor Navdeep playing the antagonist. Veteran actor, Nasser sir will also be seen in a pivotal role. The yet-to-be-titled film will be made in Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi, besides Tamil.

Sunny rose to fame with the popular reality show Big Boss and made her Bollywood debut with Pooja Bhatt’s Jism 2. She has worked in Bollywood movies like Ek Paheli Leela, Ragini MMS 2, Mastizaade and the recent Tera Intezaar. The actor is famous for playing glitzy roles and has never attempted a period drama. According to rumors, she has decided not to do any glamour roles or item songs.

We have seen Sunny getting better with each movie. Her career graph is soaring high with many projects in her kitty. Produced by Ponse Stephen, the movie will be shot across Kerala, Chennai and Hyderabad. It is slated to go on floors in January.
