PadMan is based on a true story of a societal hero, Arunachalam Muruganantham. He invented a low-cost sanitary napkins machine and reformed the concept of menstrual hygiene in rural India. Overall, the movie provides heavy emphasis on the relevance of women in any society. Pad Man is yet another example of Akshay Kumar’s thoughtfulness pertaining to filmmaking.
