The trailer of the much awaited Baaghi 2 is out and it seems that Tiger Shroff is all set to go the “Rambo” way this time. Packed with breathtaking stunts and wild action sequences, the movie is a sequel to the martial arts- action film Baaghi.
Tiger Shroff stars opposite Disha Patani and revives the character of Ronnie from the first movie. Tiger and Disha wooed the audience in the Meet Bros. music video Befikra in 2016. However, this is the first time that the duo will appear in a movie together.
The directorial debut of choreographer Ahmed Khan, Baaghi 2 tells a fresh story of love, passion and revenge. The promotional looks of the film have already piqued the curiosity of the audience. Featuring Tiger in a brand new avatar, the posters have a very serious tone about them.
The previously released teaser feeds the thrill factor. It briefly shows Tiger’s character hiding in a swamp, ready for attack. Building on the foundation laid by these promotions, the trailer does not disappoint.
Watch it here:
It has a compelling background score coupled with a montage of clips that give just the right amount of glimpse into what the movie holds in store for us. The first scene mentions a college romance between the lead characters that didn’t end well. They are brought together again when the girl’s daughter is abducted. As Ronnie agrees to help find the missing child, a series of dangerous events are lined up. The trailer then cuts into gunshots, car chases and unknown enemies. We also get a look at the characters played by Randeep Hooda and Manoj Bajpayee.
It is clearly visible that Tiger Shroff has undergone extensive martial arts training for the stunts in Baaghi 2. In addition to that, the actor is almost unrecognizable in his all-new short-cropped hair.
Baaghi 2 has also created a buzz for remaking the popular 1988 song “Ek Do Teen“. Earlier performed by Madhuri Dixit, the remake will now feature Jacqueline Fernandez. Fox Star Studios and Sajid Nadiadwala have co-produced the movie.
