With a plot that revolves around the energy and friendship among young college students, Kirrak Party promises a cheerful story-line coupled with just the right amount of drama and romance. Kirrak Party is the official Telugu remake of the 2016 Kannada film Kirik Party, directed by Rishab Shetty. It had turned out to be one of the highest-grossing Kannada films. The music for the original film was as big a success as the film itself.

Actress Samyuktha Hegde had made her debut in 2016 with the Kannada Kirik Party. Interestingly, she is back in the remake too.

Simran Pareenja is a popular face on Indian TV, starring in soap operas across multiple channels including Zee TV and Star Plus. Kirrak Party marks her entry in Telugu cinema.

Nikhil Siddharth appears as a student leader in the film. His character goes through several phases ranging from heartbreak to political involvement. In order to better portray the required image, Siddharth has added eight kilos of muscle. Apart from that, he has also worked on his voice to add a new touch to his performance.

Though the movie stays faithful to the original version, the script has been rewritten for a more interesting twist.
