Everything About Ram Charan Starrer ‘Rangasthalam’!

It is big news for all Ram Charan fans! The superstar is returning to the screens with his all new Telugu blockbuster Rangasthalam. This rural entertainer boasts of a stellar cast which includes Samantha Akkineni, Prakash Raj and Aadhi. Directed by Sukumar, Rangasthalam is bound to be an instant success.

The Plot:

The film is based in a drought-stricken village, Rangasthalam. The plot revolves around Chitti Babu, who is a boatman in the village. He although, suffers from a hearing problem and thus, popularly goes by the name “sound engineer”. One needs to scream out the words for him to hear them properly. Chitti Babu is against all forms of caste and creed in a village which is largely divided by social evils. In this drought-stricken village of Rangasthalam, Chitti Babu along with his water pump goes around supplying water to farmers whose fields are in dire need of water.

The film is incomplete without its primary antagonist, Jagapathi Babu’s character. A member of the upper caste, the character is considered an important member of the village. In fact, he has been bestowed with the position of ‘President’ of the village. The man is seen as a ruthless villain who is feared by all villagers. To protest against his wrongdoings, Chitti Babu organises an uprising. All members of the lower creed along with his brother, Kumar Babu (Aadhi Pinisetty) join hands to protest against Jagapathi Babu’s character in order to bring him down. Prakash Jha plays the role of a communist leader.
