October is the story of Dan and Shiuli, two hotel management trainees training in the same five-star hotel. The film narrates how a career-oriented Dan’s life turns upside down when his is the first name that Shiuli utters after meeting with a traumatic accident. October is nothing like a typical Bollywood love story. It promises of a brand new take on romance.

Beginning his career with Student Of The Year, Varun Dhawan has come a long way. His career path has been an interesting one with him experimenting a lot with his character. He attempted slapstick comedy in Main Tera Hero and then switched to a dark crime drama in Badlapur, which was so riveting that you don’t even want to blink. He then tried his hands at India’s first 3D dance film- ABCD 2 that served us energy and verve with the best of dance forms. With October, he takes a step forward and attempts a genre that is not just a big challenge but might also be a turning point for his career. He looks extremely promising in the trailer and is all set to surprise us in the character of Dan, who looks totally different from everything that he has done before.

The movie is majorly shot in Delhi and some lush-green mountains of Himachal Pradesh. Interestingly, October is said to be inspired by the Hollywood Oscar-nominated flick Her, which was the story of a man falling in love with an interactive smart user interface voiced by a woman.
