5 Of The Most Stunning Style Moments From Veere Di Wedding Promotions

The countdown for Veere Di Wedding has already begun and the four leading ladies can be spotted enthusiastically promoting their film. And while they are leaving no stone unturned to work towards the success of VDW, they have also managed to keep their fashion game on point. From Sonam’s unique dresses to Kareena’s obsession with midnight blue, here is a list of our favorite style picks from the VDW promotions.

1. TheTrailer Launch

Donning a midriff-bearing formal number is no easy game but Kareena Kapoor Khan carried off this custom pantsuit flawlessly at the film’s trailer launch event. The Dhruv Kapoor design featured a bandeau top and the actress complemented the attire with a vintage brooch, a gold watch and black peep toes.

Shikha Talsania and Swara Bhaskar also decided to kickstart the VDW promotional journey with a formal vibe. Both kept it elegantly simple with Shikha pairing a white shirt and a metallic skirt and Swara donning a short pantsuit in pink.

2. At Kent Cricket LIVE

The stars of Veere Di Wedding visited the Star Sports Studio to talk about their film at Kent Cricket LIVE. And two of the styles that made most heads turn were worn by Sonam Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan. While Sonam walked in a metallic silver blazer-skirt set, Kareena flaunted a striking off-shoulder jumpsuit with tie-up details in the front. The ladies’ wise choice of minimal accessories and dewy make-up offered the perfect balance to their looks.

3. Swara’s Quirky Touches to the Simplest Outfits

One of the reasons that makes Swara’s VDW promotional styles a favorite pick is the way she has been elevating the simplest clothes with unexpected touches. Be it for a photo- shoot or at the Mumbai promotions, there are little details that make her stand out from the rest. Consider, for example, her bow-shaped bun that she flaunted with white and grey casual-wear. Or her coin-studded statement shoes that she used to accessorize a crisp white dress.

4. A Welcome Twist To Ethnic Wear

While Sonam Kapoor is known for wearing traditional attire in an entirely new fashion, Kareena Kapoor too experimented with this idea for the Veere Di Wedding promotions. A shade of solid midnight blue, her outfit was more like a cross between a sari and pleated pants. Interestingly, she maintained a beautiful monochrome theme with shoes in a matching shade.

The credit for this twist to ethnic wear goes to designer Diksha Khanna. The eye-catching distressed-denim fabric was a refreshing sari makeover. And the actress managed to look almost ethereal with the ideal choice of earrings and a messy up-do.

Sonam continued flaunting her quirky takes on ethnic wear with a shining golden attire by Apala by Sumit. This super striking teaming of a sari with a gilt smock jumper was further beautified with the way she carried the drapes. Moreover, the statement earrings by Amrapali Jewels added finnesse in the most jaw-dropping manner.

5. The Music Launch

The music launch of Veere Di Wedding was another star-studded affair and the fashionistas did not disappoint. While Shikha and Swara complemented each other with contrasting black and white dresses, it was Sonam’s look that stole the show.

The actress opted for an embellished emerald velvet dress by Erdem’s Fall 2018 collection. She kept it classy with black sandals, a neat bun and bold lips.
