The terrifying universe of The Conjuring is all set to creep back into theaters this week with its much awaited spin-off The Nun. Dating back to the 1950s, it tells the origin story of the demonic entity Valak. The latter had been haunting the Warrens in 2016’s The Conjuring 2. While it left several unanswered questions behind, The Nun promises insights into the origin of the demon and why it chooses to take the shape of a nun.
As The Conjuring fandom awaits The Nun full movie 2018 and even its release in Hindi, the makers have kept up the excitement in innovative ways. Adding to that, Warner Bros. recently surprised fans with a featurette video. This video traces the development of the entire franchise. It showcases clips from the older movies while also highlighting new footage from The Nun.
As producer James Wan talks about superhero films being an inspiration for this universe of terror, we get to see a detailed timeline of the events that ultimately led to Annabelle and its sequel too.

The gothic atmosphere, the iconic scenes and the insights provided by the filmmakers in the video are a delight to watch. Bonnie Aarons reprises her role from the earlier film, reappearing as the ghastly Valak and fueling the already intensifying curiosity.
The featurette adds to the effect created by The Nun trailer, clips and posters. As one of the highly anticipated horror movies of 2018, it continues to draw speculation and inspire awe.
The Nun’s premise involves a mysterious suicide investigation in a Romanian abbey.
The film is directed by Corin Hardy whose directorial debut The Hallow was a much appreciated addition to Hollywood’s horror genre. The film also stars Oscar-nominated Demian Bichir in the role of a priest.
