Total Dhamaal, the third installment of the Dhamaal franchise is all set to hit the theaters this Friday. And the multi-starrer adventure-comedy promises a hilarious movie-time for the audience. Looking at the movie posters and trailer, it is quite clear that a unique plot is waiting to unfold. And it brings along an array of surprises. Let’s dive-in and explore the most exciting bits to look forward to.
But before that, here’s a look at the trailer if you haven’t watched it yet:
1. A Super-Entertaining Plot
From what the trailer shows, the plot of Total Dhamaal is one amazing treat that will make you laugh out loud. Not only is it different from the past two movies in the series, it is also filled with fascinating elements. That includes two teams competing for some sort of treasure, a roller-coaster ride into the unknown and a bunch of wild animals!
2. A Multitude of Reunions
Total Dhamaal is all about reunions! There is Madhuri Dixit sharing screen space with Anil Kapoor after 18 years and with Javed Jafferi after 34 years. Moreover, this is also the first movie after Tezaab (1988) to star Johnny Lever and Anil Kapoor together. Naturally, we can look forward some nostalgic moments on screen as well as great on-screen chemistry among the actors.
3. An Uncontrollable Laugh Riot
With plenty of slapstick humour, witty one-liners and insane situational comedy, the movie is highly likely to leave us in splits. Besides, when the ensemble cast features comedians like Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Boman Irani, Arshad Warsi and others, we know we are in for non-stop laughter!
4. A Jungle Safari
The trailer and posters for Total Dhamal have made it evident that the movie is replete with all kinds of animals, vehicles and landscapes. On one hand, we can see glimpses of the jungle and on the other, snakes, elephants and several big cats. However, the most interesting highlight is Crystal, the famed Capuchin monkey. Making her debut in Indian cinema, Crystal is a known face in Hollywood having appeared in movies like Hangover II and Night at the Museum.
5. Catchy Reboot of Popular Old Songs
The movie has rebooted two chartbusters from the 1980s and the 1970s- ‘Paisa Yeh Paisa’ and ‘Mungda’ respectively. And these songs have already created a buzz since their release. Naturally, it would be interesting to watch them on the big screen and understand how they fit into the storyline.
Just like the previous movies in the series, Total Dhamaal too is an Indra Kumar directorial. The movie is a joint venture by Fox Star Studios, Ajay Devgn FFilms, Reliance Entertainment, Maruti International and Pen India Ltd.
