Panipat (6 Dec 2019)

 

Inspired by the third battle of Panipat which took place in 1761 between the Marathas and the army of the Afghan ruler, Ahmad Shah Abdali, Ashutosh Gowariker’s epic saga ‘Panipat’ is all set to hit the silver screens this December. While Arjun Kapoor is playing the role of courageous Maratha Peshwa ‘Sadashivrao Bhao’, Sanjay Dutt is in the role of fearsome Afghani ruler who was aided by few Indian allies in the battle. Labelled as the greatest betrayal of Indian battle history, Panipat promises to be an thrilling ride for all.

Pati, Patni Aur Woh (6 Dec 2019)

 

A modern remake of the 1978 film of the same name, ‘Pati, Patni Aur Woh’ features dashing Kartik Aaryan as Chintu Tyagi aka ‘Pati’, elegant Bhumi Pednekar in the role of high-maintenance ‘Patni’ and the beautiful Ananya Pandey as ‘Woh’. With enough twists and turns in this hilarious roller-coaster ride, the movie is a comical take on extra-marital affairs and is surely going to tickle your funny bone.

Jumanji: The Next Level (13 Dec 2019)

 

Hell Yeah! The mysterious game returns to big screen in all its might this December. A direct sequel to last year’s ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle’, this marks the return of Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan and Jack Black as people get sucked into the game becoming the game characters and forced to navigate their way out. Taking it up a notch, the key characters are forced to traverse through thrilling landscapes and face deadly animals on their way in order to make it out alive to the real world.

With Rani Mukherji returning as ACP Shivani Shivaji Roy from its 2014 prequel, ‘Mardaani 2’ revolves around the increasing rape cases against women in the country. When the police force is pitted against a mentally ill and torturous criminal with gruesome motives against women, a fierce cat-and-mouse game begins. Will the cops be able to track him down before the killer claims his next victim? Watch out for the riveting drama on 13th December 2019.

Our friendly neighbourhood cop ‘Chulbul Pandey’ is back to the big screen! The third film of the Dabangg series, this also serves as a prequel to the first film in addition to taking the story of our beloved cop forward. Dabangg 3 marks the return of established characters such as ‘Chulbul’, his subordinates and ‘Rajjo’ as well as introduces new actors such as Kiccha Sudeep and Saiee Manjrekar, the daughter of Mahesh Manjrekar, to the franchise. One of the most awaited Salman Khan blockbusters of 2019, Dabangg 3 is sure to shatter all records at the box office.

Ever heard of the ‘In vitro fertilisation (IVF)’, well Akshay Kumar is all set to make sure that everybody gets to know about it with his latest comedy- drama titled ‘Good Newwz’. When the quest of two couples aiming to become parents through IVF technique goes haywire due to a sperm mix-up at the clinic, what follows is a laugh riot between the couples with totally different conventional and cultural backgrounds. While Kareena Kapoor Khan plays Akshay’s wife,  Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani are in the role of quirky Punjabi couple in this situational comedy which is sure to leave you in splits.
